I started out my career working in Sales working for Optus Telecommunications, walking the streets knocking on doors selling Optus long distance phone calls. It was tough and taught me how to talk to people and close sales. I then completed a degree in marketing and began working in Telemarketing and progressed to a business development role at a marketing agency in North Sydney called McKorkells and Associates. Whilst I moved to the UK I worked for Sony Ericsson in a position of Market Development Manager where I was responsbile for the growth of Sony Ericssonmobile phones and accessories in the West London region, covering over 180 retail outlets. This role enabled me to make full use of my sales technique and methodoligies of developing business accounts with the use of traditional and digital marketing.

I still like to be involved in the sales process, whether it is selling a product, a service, an idea or writing persuasive content on a website, a good digital market should be aware of the sales process and how they can contribute to sales growth and the customer experience.
